MJA Studio
The interior design for West Village is inspired by the architectural forms, their placement within the landscape and its connection to place. Reflecting the sites unique positioning; between ocean and park, the colours, textures and materials used within the interiors speak of natural composition and patterning, as well as foster connections between indoors and out. West Village pays respect to its site and the context of Karrinyup. The way light moves across the building and transforms throughout the day was a driving influence to the interior design proposal.

Crafted with a deep understanding and respect for the garden suburb ideology, the landscaping has been inspired by Karrinyup’s leafy topography where pre-existing trees have been retained and incorporated into the design. West Village’s green open space has been immaculately designed where lush plantings, abundant vegetation and deep verges connect with the facade, interiors and the surrounding landscape to create idyllic outdoor spaces. Spend your afternoons wandering through seasonal blooms and native canopies where the crisp ocean air calms and restores.
